Saturday morning

I brought his laptop over this morning in the expectstion of his being off the icu, but he is still here/there, still no floor beds. Chief resident, icu, removed the chest tube this morning before i got here, but ed says it was not painful. He slept better last night but says he feels extremely tired. More so than yesterday. Anesthesia came by and gave him good marks, noting that his blood test results this morning had all been good. They had him blow into the breathing practice tube and said he was doing well with that. He ate a couple spoonsful of yogurt and of applesauce with no nausea. Definitely less energy than yesterday morning, though. As i recall from the last surgery, day three was the hard one. He has not been out of bed this morning yet.
