Now in ICU

No update, really..just an address change. I have 24 hour access, and there is a nice waiting room, but i think no chair in the ICU. Currently, he is in the ICU and I am in the waiting room. When they get him established, I can go there, and then I think we both will try to get some sleep though in different places.

Jim Park, the surgeon, came by and described the procedure to Ed, who was able to retain the information. Park said he was looking during the first 6-8 hours post surgery for no signs of bleeding. Unstable bloodpressure would indicate a problem, but so far his blood pressure has been absolutely steady. That would be about four+ hours post surgery now.
