Hospital Post 7

After 8 p.m. now and I'm about to be going back to my room in the place next door to the hospital.  Ed's feeling a little more  pain this evening than yesterday, perhaps because he backed off a little on the percocet today and then sort of got behind the pain.  But it also may just be the compounding of the surgery pain by the gas in the bowel which has not yet returned to function. He did not feel like eating anythign tonight.  The incision is said to look great  (I myself am no connoisseur of what incisions are supposed to look like, but I take them at their word).  They are still talking of a "possible" discharge tomorrow, but no one has actually talked to us directly about it.  And I wouldn't be surprised, at the moment, if it didn't happen.
