Up the Mountain, Down the Mountain

Ed's daughter Mia, and one of the oncology infusion nurses (Dana) plus her boyfriend took themselves off yesterday to Goat Mountain, in the Cascades (I think) east of Bellingham for an all day mountain climb.  They left here in the morning at 7 a.m., and got home about 10 p.m. (the mountain is maybe 2.5 hours away from us).  The trail went most of the way to the top but the last part was a talus climb.  There was some snow.  They made it all the way and then came down.  Ed found himself more tired (or, specifically, his legs more tired) than he had expected or previously experienced, but he managed it with a little assistance from Mia, and brought back many pictures.
