This week's CEA reading was in the low 4's. Ed got the number on the phone, told me what it was, and then we both promptly forgot the exact number. It was up a bit, but last time it was down a bit, so it's not a trend. And that's all the medical news we got.
Otherwise, we spent the last ten days of December moving out of the Canadian house. Happy to have had the gift of that house for as long as we did; a great privilege to have lived there in that house, on that land.
A ton of work getting out, although we were able to leave a lot of furniture for the new owners, who are a group of couples, 7 individuals all together, who plan to make it a group vacation home. Two brothers plus two of their long-time friends, and three wives, plus one child and a second on the way. Nice Young people...may that have it for a long time.
Now, we have pretty much everything unpacked here, the new storage room is completed, and it is being slowly filled up! From my perspective, a great relief not to have that yet ahead of us. Happy New Year!
