Ed is back home (away from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) with his head in a pale blue shower/surgical cap and his arm in a sling to remind him not to raise that arm over the next 24 hours. Says the anesthesia was very light; he thinks he was awake all the time. And is without any kind of pain at this time. So, another part is successfully completed.
This is good for me because I was beginning to worry that medical intervention always made things worse.
