Electronic Medical Records Are FAST

Ed had the CT scan on Friday and by the time he drove over to see the oncologist, that doc had the CT scan on his computer.  He looks at lots of these so even without the radiologist's report, there's some info.  The former scattering of small tumors is still there but smaller.  The lump on the incision is bigger/visible, but it may be only a benign tumor.  So the oncologist rustled up a pathologist (these visits were all in a cluster of buildings at the hospital campus) who did a needle biopsy.  Those results aren't immediately available, but at least the first reading is that things aren't clearly worse and might be better if the omentum tumors are getting smaller and the lump is benign.  More when I know more.  CEA 11.5 on October 9.
