Spring Arrives and We Move Along

Today, the blood tests came back; tomorrow another infusion.  The CEA is down again at 9.4 (9.9 two weeks ago); the other blood tests are normal.  The last infusion was marked by an incident: the first time the pump ever detached itself during the infusion (i.e., the infusion needle came out) and the pump had to be turned off.  Which meant that some of the infusion (maybe 1/4-1/3) was never infused.  Maybe if it had been, the CEA would be even less than 9.4).

We're fine; we're warmer; the sky is blue, the fruit trees are blooming, and a few bees are showing up.  Ed is thinking about a mountain hike this summer and is going to put his hiking shoes on and hike around the P.R. perimeter to check his status for such an event.  I am encouraging him to find someone (not me: my status is terrible) to accompany him.
