Just a brief note for the moment (visitors and travel have addled me) to report that Ed's chemo went as usual yesterday/Wednesday. In addition, his CEA numbers were down again, and his blood levels that had been problematic were up in the acceptable range after an extra week off from the chemo.
Shelly, Chiara, and Toni (my son, his wife, and one of their daughters) are here from California. They arrived on Tuesday in Point Roberts, where Ed met them with the helicopter and a round of helicopter rides. And then, this evening/Thursday, we all drove up to the log house in B.C. to spend the weekend.
When I get a moment to think/compose, I'll relate some of the issues around changing the timing of the chemo, which will be resolved, we assume, by a visit next week with the oncologist, whom I'm pretty irritated with/by at the moment.
